This post is about what I believe technology is and it's pros and cons. This was one of the first posts we did. This server was also one of the first ever made and it's still played a lot. There are many definitions of technology. Technology has a profound effect on society, many are good such as making health and education more available worldwide. However, technology can also be used to harm other. I believe technology is used for more good stuff than bad, it just depends on the human that uses it.

To me technology means equipment used to solve problems. I consider technology to be manmade and serves a practical use. Laptop, phones, air conditioner, Fridge are some items I consider technology. Advantages to technology would be improves quality of life by saving time (eg. using a rice cooker to cook rice instead of cooking it in a pot) easy to use, easy to access information, can save lives etc., Disadvantages of technology could be that it’s addicting, fossil fuels are used in order to be made, time can be wasted, it’s distracting etc.,
Some forms of technology I use daily would be my phone, laptop, microwave, fridge and a lot more that I could mention but it would be too long to do so. Society has become dependent on technology and everyone uses it daily whether it be for communication, transportation etc., In the past not many people had technology in their households but now everyone has a couple hundred.
